Making a change
April 11, 2008
Those of you who are vegetarian know this problem when dealing with the meat-eating population out there. They’ll give you argument after argument, one weaker than the other.
So while none of their arguments really work (actually none of them do) it becomes more and more obvious that changing your diet will help in making a change, just as much as driving a hybrid, or using solar power.
And the best thing is: You don’t have to do anything! Think about it. Think. If find it incredibly satisfying.
In the light of things to come, it is even more so. It is in our hands to educate people and stop an epidemic that is far worse than anything we know in the Western World. Unless you got lucky. (not really, though)
Plus here is an interesting comparison which leaves me asking: how can Americans survive on such food?
It also left me asking how in the world you end up spending 500 $ (370 €) a week for a family of four?
I spend 50€ a week and I eat way better than what this german father has put on the table. Do the math.
This will help doing your calculation.

Giant steps are what you take…
March 16, 2008
As with all sorts of conspiracies, this movie, broad-casted by Arte, a german-french TV-network, one may of course have some doubts on wether or not things have actually taken place as they have been portrayed in this movie. But what really makes this movie so interesting is the fact that Mr.Stanley Kubrick, who is more of an film director than an actor, might have played a major role in changing history. And don’t be fooled by the low quality images and everything, technically he has proved just a few months before that indeed, it was absolutely possible to let you think ” seeing is believing”. Speaking of giant steps, another german company came to my notice with an innovation that has basically been reinvented by the people who created it in the first place. It is an innovation that will most likely change music, and especially the way we make music. For those of you who are not familiar with the tools used in audio recording, let me put it this way. You could, with a little skill, turn shit into a hit. But see and hear for yourself. It’s like photoshop for the audio industry, and you know what can be done.
On virtue of modesty and other things
March 9, 2008
Though this interview seems to be like an act of virtue it still pictures the noble-mindedness of a man that holds more money than, well… than anyone I know. And while this man will not have to worry so much about how he will survive we have to deal with the fact that our basic needs are getting more and more expensive, I recommend to each and every one of you to do the math. Vegetarianism might just be the answer to the many problems we have and a sexy one too.Nevertheless, if you really wanna know the truth and nothing but the truth, well then here you go 1 2 3
The wait is over (not really …)

Amazing India
March 2, 2008
Not only have I never heard of an existing gym in India but to my surprise they do exist and I was totally proven wrong when I came across this fellow right here. But it’s not only India, I think the whole world is losing it. Everything has just become so cheap these days and you can get anything you want just for a few bucks. Especially things that will really improve your life. Unlimited opportunities, all so cheap! And if you are feeling down, get yourself some help and relief.
Theory as such
March 2, 2008
has never really gotten me anywhere in terms of music. When you don’t know how to write scores or read them you can only depend on that which is supposedly floating in the air. But I admit I would like to have some sort of an idea of music theory. But god knows if it will ever happen. However I can play a D, C, or F on a guitar. Not bad, isn’t it. I like a lot of Brian Eno’s earlier stuff especially because I am such of fan of ambient music. Let’s listen to what he has to say about music theory. but remember this little fellow shows that it is all about talent. That’s all you need.
ABC for you and me
March 2, 2008
As I have started tutoring again last week I couldn’t help but to feel happy about the choice that I have made to not become a teacher. Not that I don’t like kids, quiet the opposite but as I walked into the schoolhouse I couldn’t believe, that within those concrete walls, dirty floors, the lack of colours and basically nothing that in some way or another would cause an stimulation in the students mind, intellectual and social training is taking place. I don’t think our schoolsystem is any better than the average even though the Pisa results might give you the impression that we actually are doing better than ever. But those twisted IQ tests are only keeping us from looking at the real problems. Reforms are much needed but they will not happen to take place in a system where any attempt to do so can only be described as the famous beating of a dead horse. Good education is what is needed everywhere and the following video is not necessarily portraying an american issue but rather it is displaying a phenomena which we all need to take to heart.
The never ending story

Mr.Bush once again makes it very clearthat he is a master of incompetence, seriously. It’s all going downhill but then again nothing is going wrong here, right? So check this out and see for yourself….. But there’s two sides of the coin. But after all people here also have weird ideas about politics and so does Bush’s party friend.
